Identify, quantify and reduce methane emissions from well to market
Determine how much methane is emitted per asset and across the entire supply chain from well to market. Reduce these methane emissions in a sustainable way and report credible, audited data to all stakeholders with the help of our new emission management software SFEMP.
With over 8.000 emission reduction projects successfully executed worldwide and almost 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, we can help you reduce methane emissions and limit global warming with our methane emission monitoring program.
Our Methane Accounting Program was awarded with the Energy Institute Environment Award
We helped the Romanian Oil & Gas industry check the accuracy of current reported methane emission figures. How?

How we monitor methane emissions
Identify
To start, we develop a methane program that suits your needs. Based on the actual emission situation at the site, we develop a fit-for-purpose strategy using the appropriate measurement equipment.
Quantify
Secondly, a team of emission specialists executes field surveys to detect and quantify the emissions using the most suitable measurement techniques and equipment. We provide a complete and detailed picture of the whole emission situation per asset, including unintended and intended emissions.
Reduce continuously
The third step leads to the continuous reduction of methane emissions. We assess the methane emission figures and develop a baseline by aggregating the methane intensity for each asset. We develop a plan for sustainable improvements so you reach your environmental target.
Our techniques to monitor methane emissions
Benefits of our methane emission monitoring program
Identify and reduce biggest emitters
Identify emitting sources and quantify the emissions in kg per year in line with the applicable protocols.
Unintended and intended emissions
Include also intended emissions from vents and flares, from gas driven pumps and valves, from PSV and other equipment.
Report accurate emission data
Report to all stakeholders aggregated and detailed emission data in a transparent and comprehensive, reliable and credible way.
