Is it worth investing in a Vapour Recovery Unit?
If you have asked yourself this question before, The Sniffers provides you with an answer.
Why?
Volatile Organic Compounds VOCs or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), vaporize during tank or silo storage loading and unloading, and during daily or seasonal temperature changes. The installation of a Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU) or catalytic oxidation removes these hazardous gases. However, is it worth investing in such a VRU?
Our solution
During the emission monitoring service, we use the High Flow Sampler to detect and quantify these hazardous gases. Afterwards, you receive a detailed report, which provides you with insight whether to invest in a VRU or not.
