Report credible methane emissions data and comply with OGMP 2.0
Nearly 100 oil and gas companies representing 30% of the world´s oil and gas production have joined the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0 (OGMP).
Has your company joined the partnership and have you defined your ambition? We specialize in the MRV (Measurement, Reporting, Verification) approach by:
- Assessing your current emission situation
- Creating a program per asset to help you reach your ambition
- Monitoring all sources releasing methane for the full oil and gas value chain.
- Quantifying methane emissions with the best available techniques
- Reporting your methane emissions performance in compliance with OGMP 2.0

Methods to detect fugitive methane leaks
Quickly check non-accessible areas with Optical Gas Imaging, resulting in Leak/No Leak Factors.
Perform Leak Detection And Repair (LDAR) campaigns to detect small leaks using FID/PID devices, such as the TVA2020 or Phoenix 42.
Detect ‘methane clouds’ fast in non-accessible areas with the Remote Methane Laser Detector (RMLD) resulting in a PPM value.
Detect vent and flare losses from leaking internal valves fast using ultrasonic equipment.
Perform direct measurements and quantify methane leaks on accessible sources, on vents, and on buried pipelines with the High Flow Sampler. Get highly accurate results in mass leak rates in KG/year. Compare accurate HFS measurement data with other data from LDAR programs and rank gas leaks in leak-rate order to prioritize repairs.
The Quantified Optical Gas Imaging technique is ideal to screen non-accesible sources. Please note that the OGI camera must be fixed on a tripod and multiple external factors (wind, temperature, etc.) need to be taken into account to perform a proper measurement.
Apart from source-based measurements above ground, our technicians also detect gas leaks on buried pipelines by car.
Our technicians detect methane leaks on buried pipelines on foot.
One of our most unique services is leak detection with our sniffing dogs. They are capable of pinpointing the exact location of even the smallest methane leaks on ppb level on buried pipelines.
Methods to quantify methane leaks on vents
With the High Flow Sampler or bagging technique, we quantify emissions from valves, regulators, or vents.
Other flow measurement techniques include the anemometers or calibrated vent bags to identify venting emissions.
Methods for flaring - Incomplete combustion
With the Testo 350, we determine the methane content from any exhaust of incomplete combustion sources.
The Multispectral Optical Gas Imaging technique allows you to quantify methane emissions from flaring – incomplete combustion. The technology combines OGI detection capabilities with quantification features. We provide this technique together with SENSIA.
Site-level measurement techniques
Together with our partner Sensirion, we provide the ground-based methane emissions monitoring solution called Nubo Sphere.
It is a reliable IoT solution that detects, locates and quantifies methane emissions across various industries. The deployment of real-time, continuous methane concentration data enables the detection, localization and quantification of emissions much earlier than was previously possible through human interaction alone. This enables fast, accurate and cost-saving damage control via rapid incident response actions, leading to increased safety and a reduced environmental burden.
Together with our partner Aeromon, we detect methane emissions using UAV drones. Increase people´s safety and perform efficient measurements to comply with the EU Methane Regulation.
Together with our partners, we help our clients detect super emitters or hotspots with satellites to help you comply.

Discover how you can reach the Gold Standard in the whitepaper
Has your company joined the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership or are you considering joining? Great!
Do you know what is required to comply? What does your plan to reach the Gold Standard look like? Which reporting level have you committed to?
In this whitepaper, we explain what OGMP 2.0 is, where to start, and how you can reach the Gold Standard.
Emission management software SFEMP helps shape your OGMP 2.0 strategy
SFEMP, Sniffers Full Emission Management Platform, is a cloud-based software application that was designed to capture and manage emission data, such as methane, for the full oil and gas value chain.
We use SFEMP throughout our methane emissions monitoring campaigns from setting up the inventory, collecting data from onsite measurements with our SFEMP Mobile application, and creating the report and repair orders.
The software application helps you shape your methane emission strategy for OGMP 2.0, visualize your methane emissions performance, and allows you to perform benchmarkings to reveal results. SFEMP is the digital twin of your assets in the field.
